The RST is a Certificate of Proficiency, introduced by the DPI, (Department for Planning and Infrastructure)

to ensure that people in charge of recreational vessels, in Western Australia, are equipped with the necessary

skills to operate a vessel competently and safely.

Competencies are assessed in both practical and theory (the RVSRG can supply a vessel at no additional cost

if required). Our assessors can complete the necessary paperwork to transfer interstate certificates if qualifications

are acceptable.

The DPI has produced a booklet to assist you in achieving the required standard of competency.
