IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE PART OF OUR GROUP AND HELP PROVIDE THIS  COMMUNITY SERVICE:

There is a comprehensive training pathway from initial Induction, right through to being qualified as a rescue vessel Skipper (for those with the necessary aptitude).    We do arrange the training for you, mostly at our cost – Marine Radio Operation, RST and then First Aid, Survival at Sea, etc.

It is preferred that you live reasonably near to Rockingham so that you can contribute to our shift rosters without too much travelling time – this is most important for boat Crews who may be called out at short notice.

To discuss what is involved for you and needed by us, please call:  08 9527 9988 and tell us if you are interested in

  • radio work,
  • crew duties, or
  • administration support.

Our duty radio operator will take your phone number and leave a message for the relevant officer to call you.
